As an example applying IT solututions to enhance economic sustainability, I estimated the benefit from a prposed $30M enterprise Geograohic Information System system by estimating the costs saved by timplementing the existing GIS-based drawing management system. I have identified and analyzed system integration points for four CMMS applications under consideration by LAWA. . I conducted an outreach effort for implementation of an Enterprise Drawing and Document Management System for Los Angeles World Airports; prepared Standard Operating Procedures for the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport Consolidated Airfield Operations Center/ Emergency Operations Center; and prepared a conceptual plan for IT and Security design for the proposed LAWA Consolidated Rental Car facility and intermodal transportation center.I have developed an outreach process for LAWA Information Technology Group. where I conducted a two-day workshop to train LAWA ITG personnel on data collection and interview techniques for LAWA-wide OS Migration\PC Deployment effort; prepared inventory of IT systems for Systems Integration Program Implementation (SIPI) Project for Explosive Detection System (EDS) for the baggage systems throughout LAX; and conducted IT Security Assessment as part of larger security assessment for a West Coast Category 1 airport (confidential client). For a major private sector client, I have a 12-year relationship of providing strategy sustainabiltiy planning advice, especially with respect to IT systems.

I managed preparation of an Implementation Plan for the GIS study and development of a prototype which demonstrated proof of the enterprise data management concept.I also managed $1.5MM in related activities involving an underground utilities survey; installation of fiber optic cable; development of CAD/GIS/DDMS standards; and development of an Asset Management System.I have prepared a number of emissions inventories, including the data collection effort and data management task for a comprehensive air emissions (Title V) permit application for the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base. This project included source identification, emissions inventories, compliance certification, development of alternative operating scenarios, and preparation of the comprehensive permit application. The results of the inventory were used to design an air monitoring network for the base. Conducted similar Title V emission inventory for the Boeing aircraft facility in Long Beach, CA and the General Electric Jet Engine Maintenance facility in Ontario, CA.I also helped design and conduct air toxics monitoring project for the Chevron El Segundo refinery; as well as inspected plant and prepared emissions inventory for YPF refinery in La Plata, Argentina; developed sampling plan and analyte list for monitoring of the refinery emissions; developed a university-level course on the air emissions inventory process, which was offered at the University Autónoma Metropolitan in Mexico City. Also prepared related documents on estimating emissions from point sources in Mexico and uncertainty analysis of emissions data.

In this role, I reviewed analytical data generated for assessing responsibility for cleanup of EPA designated superfund hazardous waste sites and an international acid rain study.
