Responsible for receiving and assessing referrals to our day service, managing the waiting list for services Managing a caseload of individuals with ABI, developing a support plan and ensuring regular review Managing, developing and updating all paperwork associated with the service, including a comprehensive spreadsheet of clients, enquiries, activities and outings Managing a team of Rehabilitation Assistants, providing line management support and regular supervision. Registered Manager with the Care Inspectorate, responsible for accurate and timely reporting, taking the Organisation through 3 Inspections, achieving “very Good” grades across the service Working closely with the Chief Executive to complete funding applications, compiling research material and working at strategic level developing the future of the Charity Developing a varied programme of therapeutic activities for the rehabilitation service Responsible for the recruitment, interviews and induction of new Rehab staff Developing and Delivering high quality training in Acquired Brain Injury Awareness, Challenging Behaviour, National Care Standards, Protecting Vulnerable Adults, Boundaries. Responsible for Risk Management of daily activities, events and individual risk management for individuals with behavioural/medical issues Recruited to the specialist module writing group by Chest, Heart and Stroke (CHSS) and Edinburgh University to produce an online e-learning resource on Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA).
