I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Connecticut, and received my MA in Psychological Counseling, and my EdM in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. I am T.E.A.M CBT certified, level 3 and have experience in individual, group and tele-therapy settings working with clients aged 16 + seeking support for anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, relationship/family difficulties, LGBTQ, identity/race, substance use and self esteem issues. I am also trained in multicultural counseling which seeks to understand and validate that our client’s experiences are shaped by their unique identities (race, culture, ethnicity, SES, family structure, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.) and utilize culturally appropriate interventions to address their mental health needs.
