Providing Technical solutions and support to the Office of Human Resources Management, HR Technology Center.

As an independent consultant and sole proprietor of my company, I am working as a subcontractor to Southpoint Consulting at the General Services Administration (GSA) doing Project Management and Enterprise Architecture work within the Office of Human Resources Management assisting with implementing new HR systems. (this work also includes security and privacy documentation as well)From 2013-2021, I worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a subcontractor to Ironbow Technologies (among other primes) on the Mobile Applications Program Management Office. My role was related to technical architecture compliance and configuration management processes for mobile healthcare applications. I performed Operations Support as well in a containerized, docker/kubernetes cloud implementation at Amazon GovCloud.I also worked in a GSA Program Management Office as well from 2013-2015 with GSA IT supporting HR and Financial systems. I assisted with a number of Authorization and Assessments (A&A) for both on-premises and cloud Saas implementations.

Business Development and execution of projects with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Air Force.

I am a certified Project Management Professional working on multiple projects simultaneously. I am currently managing three projects with the Department of Veterans Affairs, but have also worked extensively on projects with the Department of Labor and NASA. I have a strong process background in System Development Lifecycles and project management techniques such as Earned Value Management.

My position with Raytheon was an extension of my work at Hughes Aircraft Company when Raytheon acquired Hughes. I started out as a developer but quickly transitioned to management positions including 7 years on the EOSDIS Core System (ECS) contract with NASA. In this position I was a Group Lead and Subsystem Lead managing up to 30 people, planning and scheduling software components for three of the subsystems of this large earth science repository project.

Worked a variety of projects including NASA Earth Observing System, telemetry and command, IR&D. Managed up to 40 person teams, performed development, object-oriented technologies and C++/ Java programming. Oracle and Sybase RDBMS.
