Lynne Dahmen is the Senior Managing Director of Purdue University's Institute for a Sustainable Future. Lynne works with the Institute director and leadership team to grow the sustainability research enterprise at Purdue. She also serves as lead on development and implementation of special projects such as topical white papers concerning key environmental topics such as PFAS, water management, campus sustainability and impacts of climate change. She helps develop and maintain cross-campus and external partnerships in the sustainability space, advances professional development and proposal development initiatives for institute faculty, and supervises a small team of staff. Previously, she held the Managing Director position at Purdue's Center for the Environment and helped oversee the transition from C4E into ISG. She was Administrative Director of Center for Brain Inspired Computing at Purdue and worked in the Office of Research and Partnerships at Purdue, where she worked over nine years as a proposal coordinator. She also has a Ph.D. in comparative literature and has taught courses in the School of Languages and Cultures at Purdue.
