following a restructure of the General Manager's post and merger of Royal and Aintree I was successful in gaining a role for Head of Operations that covers: Head and Neck including ENT and Audiology, Dermatology, Allergy, Maxillo-Facial Unit (MFU) and Clinical Photography, the role involves: accountability for the delivery of the Care Group strategy and business plans which link in with patient safety, clinical governance and staff wellbeing. Responsibilities include achievements of key performance and access targets such as 18 week delivery, CQUINS and CQC standards. The role also involves being accountable for the care group financial budget achieving efficiencies and delivering objectives under tight financial constraints while strategically reviewing business opportunities. Internal and external stakeholders is vital to the role as this assists in achieving any business objectives, ensure that there are policies and processes to support any change and links with business continuity.
