Milo Point Richmond is a fantastic Rescue and Adoption Center, we have grown and settled in well in our new community of Point Richmond. We have a fantastic space for the dogs we rescue, for the staff, visitors and volunteers who come everyday to walk and care for the dogs and play and socialize with kitties and pups.People come from all over the Bay Area to adopt and to volunteer. Our old friends from Marin have realized how easy it is to hop over the bridge and get to Milo so easily and quickly. The historic town of Point Richmond is warm and welcoming, we have great areas to walk as well as having our dog yards and Dog Park - which is now complete (except for a few more loads of wood chips) and it's fabulous!We are extremely grateful for the wonderful improvements made by Ghilotti Construction in memory of Nancy and Dino Ghilotti. The park is a playground for our homeless dogs, our volunteers and visitors, a place for training classes and dog lovers of our community. We are constantly improving and adding to the space and comforts of the animals we rescue....that is an average of more than 5 pets a day, rescued and adopted! We hold MILO MANNERS classes for adult dogs at our Dog Park as well as Puppy Classes in our concrete Dog Yard....
