In work or leisure Lynne has been regarded as a change agent in organisations. After a decade as a specialist Infants teacher and a Reading and Communications adviser, the business world called. Three decades later Lynne's business experience has included several national marketing roles in retail, and consulting to various sized organisations across industry sectors including agriculture, food, property, not for profits, business and community groups, and export markets as well as starting a food business that supplied supermarkets and air lines.The key aims in each role have been to take a strategic overview and highlight issues which can enhance or inhibit a business' ability to grow and prosper, to build brand loyalty, and develop key partnerships through the supply chain. Always with a view to the bottom line in business supported by communication programmes and community activities that nurture these principles. It is about empowerment and choice through informed engagement. Between 2008 and 2014 Lynne was CEO of the Australian Companies Institute Limited (AUSBUY) which represented Australian owned, made and sourced companies across industry sectors, and actively lobbied at the Federal level on behalf of these businesses across a range of Ministerial portfolios, and raised the profile of member businesses in the media. In late 2016 she was appointed to the NSW Innovation Productivity Council. Her favoured charity to raise funds is the Children's Medical Research Institute, formed nearly 60 years ago is a world leader in childhood diseases and genetics.Strengths: Strategic thinker, communication, brand building, facilitation across organisations to change, engage and grow. Thinking up new ways to solve old problems - a lateral thinker who engages people in the change so they take ownership of and are rewarded for the outcomes.Currently also a Board Member of NFP Road Safety Education and actively participates in the community.
