I mentor college women and entrepreneurs on start-up and career issues, and have put my financial expertise to work looking for new ways to help students understand and manage educational debt.

Founding CEO of new consumer-oriented division. Member of Global Executive Management Committee for $2 Billion software company. Global P&L responsibility; recruited executive team and developed both cloud and PC-based interactive apps to bring 3D software to mass market. Combined 3D models and virtual reality technology to quickly communicate complex concepts/instructions in retail merchandising, product assembly & service, medical education (in conjunction with University of Washington), and archeology (in conjunction with Harvard University Dept of Egyptology).

P&L responsibility for a new business unit . Acquired and successfully commercialized a wireless technology and L-band satellite spectrum to deliver real-time graphical weather to inflight aircraft and high end watercraft. Recruited a start-up team (engineering, product management, web development, marketing and sales), capturing ~30% of target market in 30 months, grew an existing business and quadrupled revenue.

iKena developed communications and web collaboration software and a scalable infrastructure. Promoted by Board to lead struggling company through rapid technology, business/strategy and organizational transition. Successful exit during dot com crash.

Key member of executive leadership team that built Fidelity’s online brokerage (PowerStreet) & mutual fund business. Grew users from zero to over 1.2 million, moving 70% of trades and $130 billion in assets to the web in 24 months.

Developed and championed e-commerce business plans, secured executive sponsorship, and led cross-functional team to deliver Fleet’s first electronic offering for small business market

Employee #3 in startup that developed and marketed a portable consumer electronics device and interactive server software to firms interested in developing electronic service channels (pre-Internet). Developed business plan, pricing model and defined intellectual property rights. Silver Medal in Business Week’s IDEA new product competition.

Lotus One Source (now Avention) was the world's largest provider of integrated business and financial information products, and the 4th largest product line at Lotus. Responsible for $35 million revenues worldwide. Led a team of 20 and all aspects of product management and marketing for 4 product linesSuccessfully divested One Source from Lotus in investor-led buyout.
