About Lynne Kemmer

Hello and thank you for checking out my profile! My professional background had been in Marketing, Public Relations, and Sales before moving into the library/educational sector in 2010 and working as a Community College Academic Librarian and Library Instructor for 8 years then into the Public Library system in 2019. I love advocating for libraries through conversations, presentations, and partnered programming that facilitate the use of library services, materials, and spaces. It is rewarding to be able to connect community members with useful information and meaningful programs to enrich their lives. Highlighting the equitable access that libraries provide to underserved populations through our freely available materials, technology and other office tools, as well as our programming, is paramount. Successful networking and partnerships are integral to connecting diverse populations of community members to their local, state, city or county libraries for their personal and professional pursuits. I support freedom of speech and press, and people’s right to be informed.
