In one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the U.S , with $4.7 billion in assets, more than 100 organizations, and 32 hospitals, (now known as Bon Secours Mercy) led the health system's customer alignment and healthcare retail/convenience care strategies. Within a 5 hospital market, led strategic planning, marketing and sales for all ambulatory health services, health care retail endeavors and health/fitness facilities, driving revenue of $230 million/year and over 1 million customer encounters/yr. Initiated a service line planning approach and managed service line leader networks.Secured buy-in at Board and C-suite level for design and operation of a first-in-kind Consumer Focused Center of Excellence to generate quantum improvements in customer experience and market share growth. o Created a proprietary service excellence approach that leveraged the culture of service across all care continuums. Streamlined care delivery models and increased patient access. Improved patient experience to the 91st percentile, employee engagement to the 87th percentile and generated double digit market share increases in 3 divisions.

Served as the visionary for rapid organizational expansion and service delivery improvement while directing Clinical Operations. Provided strategic planning, business development, and operations oversight and optimization for hospitals, physicians and IPA organizations. Led a virtual team across multiple states. Developed market and operational analysis tools, procedures and policies and due diligence models.CPN was a venture capital funded consulting company founded by David Jones, Jr of Humana fame.

Led operational, administrative, strategic planning, development and marketing activities. Positioned debt financing, established cost standards and variance analyses for all divisions. Increased cash flow from improved vendor terms and purchase discounts. Administered evaluation, negotiation and integration of major acquisitions and directed the investor offering upon conversion of a privately held Ambulatory Surgery Center. Directed all human resources functions, conceived the skills development program, trained staff on TQM, and structured benefits programs.This organization was a diverse, international medical services conglomerate included a multi-specialty physician practice, women’s hospital/ambulatory surgery center, imaging center, clinical research trial provider, surgical and medical device manufacturing and marketing, and a full service commercial and entertainment industry (access control) printer.
