Responsibilities included implementing direct deposit for 175 employees, executing a H.S.A roll-out, implementing ACH payments for Customers, Vendors, and Owner Operators, upgraded current software programs, created policies and procedures to implement the effective roll out of those programs, creation and maintenance of an effective financial management program that included reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, fixed asset accounts, benefit insurance policies, tax accounts, introduction of a CPA and attorney to the organization, implementing an aquisition documentation program, daily oversight and point of contact for banking relationships, administration of SBA program, PPP program, fire insurance claim, audits, renewals and updating all licensing, tax exempt certificates, W-9s and 1099s from all customers and vendors. In the reconciliation of accounts, SFWP was able to realize a refunds of overpaid Federal taxes, State taxes, business insurance premiums, health insurance premiums, and Workers Compensation premiums. Other duties included mentoring and training current and new staff in their accounting-based duties.
