ALTER THE COURSE, LLC. ATC Retreats is the 7-day intentional retreat program altering the course of young lives. ATC is an experiential journey developed to play a key role in the reduction of the escalating rates of depression, anxiety, substance use, and suicide among young people by utilizing the power of human connection and inspiration. It is the first early intervention and life skills program of its kind where participants build subtle yet powerful life-sustaining and affirming internal coping mechanisms. Developed by a respected thought leader with over 30 years of expertise in adolescent mental health treatment. ATC understands this stage of adolescence and more importantly the adolescent and the young adult. ATC is not a treatment program. There is a time and place for that. This is not the time nor is it the place.We seek to ignite the passion that exists within every young person. We achieve this desired end by presenting various mediums that will allow the participant access to the core of who they are and hope to be in this world. The daily schedule may include, but is not limited to arts, photography, writing, music, spoken word, surfing,skating and culinary arts. We encourage the participants to pick a specific medium to tell us their story. Not the story they have on social media, at school, or even at home. Most are very different from one another. The greatest challenge for most young people is the acknowledgment that they have a story to tell at all. They do. We know it. You know it. When they own their story, all becomes possible.Our enrollment process is simple but thorough. We screen our applicants to ensure they are appropriate for this level of engagement. The ATC Clinical Advisor, may conduct an additional interview with any potential participant with an issue of concern. Any potential participant who does not meet the criteria for this level of engagement will be assisted to find the appropriate level of care needed.

ONE is an arts-infused, non-profit organization dedicated to the inspiration of young people, their loved ones and conscious members of the community looking to increase their awareness. One Recovery knows that when an adolescent struggles with a mental health disorder of substance abuse, self-harm, disordered eating and/or depression so struggles the family.ONE offers both community and campus-based support models. There is no struggle necessary to attend; only a desire to be inspired. Our belief is that each struggling adolescent is a work in progress. We know that these young people are some of the most intelligent, creative and gifted beings walking this planet - they just require assistance in regulating their emotions. ONE architects prolific experiences and events that are aimed at altering the course of lives.
