As a Proposal Specialist at Saratoga Medical, I work with a fantastic Business Development Team to take Saratoga from a small business into its next phase as the great Consulting Firm it is destined to be.

As part of my support of the transition activities for the IRS ESAT program, I coordinated with Splunk engineers and other Program Analysts to develop a Change Management strategy for Splunk expansion. I also guided new team members through use of HumanTouch’s PMO tool (Coras) and team operating models, and I entered and maintained all change management and communications tasks in Coras.

What can I say about Booz Allen Hamilton?Booz Allen took me from a person who defined herself as a technical writer who "sometimes did other things" to defining herself as an Instructional Designer and Agent of Change. Some of my favorite projects at Booz Allen included:- For the Securities and Exchange Commission, I collaborated with the Director of Cybersecurity Policy & Compliance and designed a live, in-person interactive training in Cybersecurity and Privacy Best Practices for delivery to all of the employees and contractors in 11 regional offices. - For the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), I wrote all of the user documentation and web-based training for the Data and Specimen Hub (DASH), a public-facing web site for NICHD-funded scientists to share their research data with other scientists. - I developed and delivered a 1-hour “Lunch and Learn” course on Professional Communications for Technical Employees Booz Allen management requested in order to help improve the client’s perception of Booz Allen at the SEC. Contract Performance Assessment Reporting (CPARs) increased from 2s and 3s prior to training to 5s across the board after training for relevant contracts.

One of my favorite things to do is to work with people from the moment they decide to make a move until the moment they settle on their new home-- and beyond! In my Real Estate business, I am proud to say that the relationships I forge with clients become so much more than a relationship for a transaction. Most of my clients also become very good friends. As a technical writer for the Department of Homeland Security, I wrote and edited Systems Engineering Life Cycle documentation for SAIC programs with the DHS US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). I transitioned to Agile development within USCIS and assisted in writing and maintaining user stories and project backlogs in addition to continuing writing and editing for those projects. Later, on another contract for USCIS, I worked collaboratively with a team of writers to produce life cycle documentation, kept weekly and monthly metrics, and produced a weekly compilation report for 18-20 Systems Engineering projects. As a Research Analyst for the Securities and Exchange Commission, I performed speaker vetting requests for SEC University, the SEC’s internal learning center. I searched Senate and House Lobbying databases and performed complex searches using Factiva to vet speakers for SECconferences and training events, and reported results to the Director of SEC University. I also assisted Human Resources in conducting interviews for operational improvement.
