My mission is clear: to make a tangible difference in society by leveraging my expertise in communications, PR, and media relations to support non-profits, higher education institutions, government departments, and social entrepreneurs striving to create positive impacts in the world.In my current role as Communications Coordinator, I serve as the point person for coordinating and executing the institutional marketing and communication strategy of DSAf (Division Student Affairs) while fostering communication with Stellenbosch University students. This involves ensuring that relevant and up-to-date information about DSAf is readily available to the SU community.Key responsibilities include coordinating the communication function of DSAf across social media and other online platforms, developing and managing branding and information-sharing initiatives, and collaborating with the Corporate Communication and Marketing Division (CCMD) to facilitate the exchange of information within and beyond Stellenbosch University.I also oversee various aspects of welcoming newcomers to SU, including producing and managing the copywriting, translation, editing, proofreading, design, and layout of the Welcoming Guide for Newcomers each year.Through these responsibilities, I strive to uphold DSAf's mission and ensure effective communication channels that enrich the student experience at Stellenbosch University.
