Responsible for overseeing the successful integration of former company, Occupational Health + Rehabilitation Inc.

Co-founded and developed the third largest occupational health care provider nationally with 35 clinics in 10 states and multiple on-site employee health clinics, $60 million in revenue 11% EBITDA, and a consistent record of profitability in an industry where most venture-backed companies failed. OH+R was sold to Concentra Health Services, Inc. at 2.5 times the premium to its market value, 11 times EBITDA and a positive return for all venture investors, 2.8 times investment for most. Responsible for functional areas including business planning, sales, marketing, operations, clinical quality, information technology, review and integration of business development, talent development and succession planning. Backers included Cahill, Warnock & Company (now HLM Ventures and Camden Partners), Prince Venture Partners, and Venture Capital Fund of New England among others.• Transitioned 18 acquisitions of physician practices, hospital based occupational medicine programs and physical therapy practices. Developed 10 joint ventures with hospitals taking underperforming programs and turning them into growing, profitable businesses.• Built and led an exceptional management team that focused on results-oriented best practices culture that saw the company through market downturns, 9/11 and recession without additional financing.• Results despite 50% decline in the market included:o Maintained consistent bottom line results in 2003 by reducing expenses through renegotiating vendor contracts, restructuring management teams, reducing senior management salaries, and reducing paid time off. Minimized impact to staffing levels, benefits, and investment in practice management system and upgrade in hardware.o Increased revenue by 7% and profits by 37% in 2004 by implementing rigorous execution of charge entry procedures and management of key variables of the business.o Increased revenue by 4% and profits by 27% in the first half of 2005.
