Content Creator/Strategist for Consumer and Brand audiences. A proven managing editor and content strategist for award-winning media and publications, I thrive on executing on the tiny details and effectively managing the big picture - integrating all modes of content delivery (digital, social, print, video) for multiple divisions, editors, partners, and leads. My journalistic experience easily parlayed itself into colorful and relevant digital storytelling for both mainstream consumer media and non-media outlets alike, resulting in engaging web, social, and multimedia campaigns. I work constantly to inspire, educate, and entertain readers - as well as help companies define brand identity. Recently, at Galavante.com, a global luxury travel and lifestyle e-commerce site, I worked as managing editor, developing writers to produce fresh and relevant story ideas and content, shoring up new processes for more productive editorial execution, and producing a weekly newsletter to excite the global jet-set to travel once again.I also worked with a talented team of editors at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Time Inc. to deliver Advisor magazine, an award-winning consumer financial services publication. In the Global Commercial Banking division, I refreshed CFO Outlook - a pivotal, decade-old study - using interactivity and a more 'human' approach. And, as editor of BetterMoneyHabits.com, I helped lead the Bank's financial literacy effort with breakthrough digital content that educates people in every phase of their financial lives.I also take pride in my network, starting with my role as managing editor of Swing Magazine - a publication about 'life in your 20s' run by David Lauren, son of Ralph Lauren. This effort launched the careers of political correspondents (Jonathan Karl), financial journalists (Cory Johnson), music critics (Jon Wiederhorn) and lifestyle pros (GMA's Tory Johnson). As managing editor for National Geographic Adventure, I worked with an acclaimed writers and reporters, including Sebastian Junger, David Quammen, Gabriel Sherman, Peter Matthiessen, Charles Graeber & Robert Young Pelton.

Editor, Covid Response Center, Global PublishingMckinsey & Company Jan 2021 - Jan 2022UsDuring the darkest days of COVID-19, I managed the interview program “Leadership Mindsets” for McKinsey’s COVID Response Center site (CRC), creating strategies and storytelling from top leaders across a range of industries on how to lead during the heart of the pandemic and beyond. I conceived and executed each interview from development to publication, determining the most relevant storylines for the McKinsey audience concerning COVID-19, then interviewing experts and C-suite clients on the leadership challenges their businesses faced across various sectors (travel/transportation, retail, fashion, and health and human services, etc...) - including both professional and personal experiences - gleaning the strategies they employed and lessons learned. This process included writing long-form interviews from transcript stage and generating pieces of short-form content, as well as managing video shoots in-person and via Zoom, working with producers to capture cuts of key video segments to appear within the articles and interviews. I also led and produced the “Vaccine series” of interviews for McKinsey, working with the pharmaceuticals practice to interview the top leaders around the world spearheading vaccine development and distribution. (Interviewees include the heads of Moderna, Pfizer, the Africa CDC, Gavi, the vaccine alliance, Trivago, Unilever, and more...). Worked with social teams to create assets to promote these interviews in all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). -
