She led the development of Targazyme's novel products from idea stage through phase 2 clinical trials to phase 3 designation where Targazyme's late stage product TZ 101 is shown to improve survival of cancer patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. She has driven the development of Targazyme platform technology forward to positive preclinical proof of concept for multiple indications such as T-cell, NK, Treg immunotherapies with numerous publications of Targazyme's technology in prestigious medical journals. Under her leadership, Targazyme received multiple FDA orphan drug designations, an FDA phase 3 Special Protocol assessment award, over 40 granted patents and 67 patent applications pending worldwide.Some of the industry pioneering work she has led in her early career include the first generation wireless system in the world from AT&T Bell Laboratories that enables people to reach and to be reached anytime, anywhere, the first caller-ID in the world that enabled callers to be identified, the first generation voice/video/data internet networking infrastructure that today, allows people to communicate with voice/video over the internet network. Over her three decade career, she has raised over $600MM (mostly from corporations) completed over $11.2B in licensing deals/M&A transactions.
