Currently, as a Funeral Director at Harrell Funeral Home, I spearhead the coordination of all aspects of funeral services, providing care and support to a current total of 180+ clients. In this role, I deem both the efficient preparation of the deceased for final disposition and its compliance with state board laws and regulations as vital responsibilities. I also provide effective lectures on the funeral industry to guide clients and promote comfort for tasks related to end-of-life planning. On top of that, I also made big contributions as I helped develop and run the company’s online cremation service, being involved in strategizing prices as well as initiatives to expand our client base.

Working as both a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Distinctive Life, I primarily oversaw the timely planning, preparation, and provision of funeral services in coordination with various clients and families. More so, I assisted and advised clients on the costs and arrangement of funeral services, including various locations and needed resources. In that role, I made sure to reinforce our relations and marketing initiatives with my strong communication and interpersonal skills. On the administrative side, I implemented and monitored the strict compliance of operations with state board laws and regulations on funeral services.

In my role as a Business Assistant at the Ace of Bricks, I mainly provided efficient support to management while handling the implementation and organization of administrative systems. My daily responsibilities revolved around engaging with numerous customers throughout our operations while managing tasks and customer billings in a fast-paced workflow. Along with that, I also maintained the organization of office records by securing inventory data into computer programs in a timely manner.

In my early years of experience as a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Forest Park Funeral Home, I fulfilled my job functions as I effectively organized the daily tasks and preparations for funeral services while supervising the general operations of the funeral home. More so, I started to work on and further develop the skills I’ve gained from training as an Apprentice and started to handle multifaceted roles in the workflow. In line with that, I coordinated and secured the various resources needed for funeral services while also effectively liaising with my clients throughout planning and execution. Most importantly, I guaranteed that I conformed to the various laws and regulations on funeral service all throughout the preparation of the deceased for burial.
