This is what being a Clinical Educator, Nurse and Teacher are all about. I firmly believe that everyone is able to learn and there is no greater honor than to share my knowledge and education with those who are coming into the profession, company, or a situation they need the knowledge to care for themselves or a loved one. I also enjoy spending my time using the skills I obtained as a school and college educator pouring into children, teens. and adults. People are eager to learn new concepts. As a group home parent I learned the importance of true patience, forgiveness, tenderness and brotherly love. These are not skills or traits that were easily developed because it forced me to focus inwards first. Only then did I begin sharing them with others. Putting myself in these children's shoes was often very painful. However, I learned to appreciate the things I have been given and to share my thoughts. I believe that transparency leads to trust and trust leads to learning. It is through the lives of these children I learned true forgiveness in action and what it means to love unconditionally.
