Lynnette Reid joined the ABI team serving as the Community Engagement Advocate, and in 2014 was promoted to Senior Community Planner. In her role she works on policy and regulatory development, community engagement, community relations and consensus building, working with elected officials, master planning, and identifying new and innovative was to make communities more sustainable to implement the Atlanta BeltLine Vision. She works with external agencies regarding land use, and zoning within the BeltLine Planning Area, and she manages the BeltLine Design Review Committee where she works developers to to ensure compliance with the BeltLine Overlay District Standards. She also has demonstrated experience in land use, zoning entitlement and policy development.

Greater Atlanta Area

With over 15 years in producing events, programs, and shows. Her production experience include producing CD releases, Live-Tapings for DVD, Poetry Shows, Stage plays, conferences, worship service, and community events. Lynnette was the lead producer and oversaw a production team at Destiny Metropolitan Worship church for several years, where she supervised over 60 volunteers which includes producers, drama, video, computer graphics, lighting, post-production, audio, and set design. She was instrumental in series programming and planning and implementation.

Greater Atlanta Area

Developed planning priorities; coordinated planning projects with County staff, members of the community and consultants; develops and recommends policies and procedures. Provided advice on County regulations and standards; evaluates programs and proposals for compliance; interprets policies established by the Board of Commissioners. Facilitated compromises among parties with divergent interests in the planning process. Conducted public meetings and workshops to obtain and disseminate information. Facilitated meetings to bring resolution through consensus and/or concession. Briefed the County Manager and the Board of Commissioners on matters related to comprehensive land use. Lead inter-departmental teams that produce specialized and target area plans. Forecasted needs, prepares budgets, estimates costs, and define program objectives. Manages specific projects; schedules, coordinates and assigns planning activities. Carried out formal planning activities with public impact in such fields as zoning, land use, transportation, and housing. Administeerd the land use policies in the Southwest Fulton and South Fulton Communities. Meet with developers regarding proposed projects and its compliance with the land use plan. Worked with developers to build community consensus on projects, and assists developers through the development process. Administered contracts and grants; develops proposals and seeks funding sources. Supervised other planning staff personnel.
