I oversee the daily operations for Provider Relations. We facilitate disallowence projects on behalf of the state's Medicaid agencies. In addition to my current duties I now handle all month end department reporting and attend the quarterly Louisiana Dept. of Health and Hospitals client and provider meetings.

Work on behalf of state Medicaid Agencies and Medicaid Managed Care Organizations to recover payments from providers and professional facilities who should have billed a third party payer as primary; also responsible for training and supervising a group of Provider Relation Representative I-III and TX RX Representatives. Manage team member workload, make business decisions, set priorities and act as point of contact for Program Directors. Work and manage projects of a complex nature helping to recover millions of dollars for the state agency based on disallowance projects mailed to the providers and professional facilities and review of supporting documentation sent in by the providers and professional facilities.
