I am currently working in the Rotary and Mission Systems business area of Lockheed Martin. I worked on the Aegis Weapon System Baseline 10 Mission Planner product for 1 year as a systems engineer and then transitioned into the Class of 24’ cohort of the Engineering Leadership and Development Program which gave me the opportunity to do 9-12 month rotations. For my first rotation I performed radar systems work for the Aegis System Equipped Vessel program by conducting analyses to determine values for system requirements. My 2nd rotation was software engineer role working on the EyeSuite products within the DX Data and Analytics - Data Fusion team. For my 3rd rotation I had the opportunity to serve as the deputy engineering project manager for the F-110 program. In my 4th and final rotation, I held a position on the RSS business development team as an analyst, acting proposal manager, and deputy program manager. In my post-ELDP role I am going to be performing systems engineering work for the Sentinel A4 program on their infrared sensors.I am in my second year of my MBA at Howard University. I also received my INCOSE certification from my system engineering coursework at Cornell University.I am a 2020 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Applied Mathematics. While at WPI, I was a research assistant with the Industrial Microwave Modeling Group (IMMG) under Dr. Burt Tilley and our focus was analyzing electrodynamics models and optimizing heat transfer.During my undergraduate years at Fisk University I was able to intern at Morgan Stanley and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). I also conducted research in mathematical modeling and statistics. The titles of my research were "A Mathematical Model for the Ebola Transmission Dynamics" and "The Effects of Social Media and Music on Drug Use in College-Aged Students."
