Damespointe operates primarily in three main geographic areas, the Mid-Atlantic; the coastal south, and the hub of the southeastern region of the United States - Atlanta, Georgia. We put our network of contacts, made over the last twenty years, to work for our clients. We use this network to position our clients. From relationship generation and management, to increasing the client's visibility and profile either in a particular arena or with specific stakeholders and constituents that's how we use our ever expanding network. All of our work is designed specifically to advance the goals of our client. We are strategic and tactical. We pride ourselves on bringing people together identifying potential formal or informal strategic alliances, assisting our clients to partner with stakeholders who have similar or complimentary agendas. Most importantly we want to ensure our clients become engaged in the civic life of the community. Through our extensive network we introduce our clients to civic and government leaders and help determine their role in the next private public partnership.

Founding Executive Director of Sustainable Atlanta, a 501(c)(3) non-profit which served as a catalyst and facilitator for sustainable progress in Atlanta. Its core focus lay in convening leaders from academia, business, non-profits, and government to develop sustainable policy and programs for those who live, work and play in Atlanta. Sustainable Atlanta leverages its expertise to help develop policies, programming, strategies, and best practices that make Atlanta and its citizens more bottom-line efficient, environmentally responsible, and competitive when attracting employers and jobs.

Responsible for management and oversite of all executive departments of City of Atlanta under the Honorable Shirley Franklin (2002-2007) and Baltimore City government under the Honorable Kurt L. Schmoke (1987-1999). From the Department of Watershed Management to Hartsfeild Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. From the Housing Authority in Baltimore City to the Department of Public Works; all departments of government reported to the Mayor through me. In addition, I either developed or assisted in the development and maintenance of tens of successful public-private partnerships that resulted in new and important projects that could not have been achieved without either private funding or cooperation. I was responsible for the recruitment of all Cabinet level positions. Collaborated with Cabinet officials to develop policies and practices that put both Atlanta and Baltimore on the cutting edge. Encouraged cultures of change and pushed the city to set as their goals to be best in class.

Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Baltimore from 1988 to 1999. Oversaw all facets of the administration of the executive branch under Mayor Kurt Schmoke. All agencies of government reported to the Mayor through me. Worked extremely closely with the Department of Finance and the Bureaus of Treasury and Budget.
