The Small Claims Court is a branch of the Superior Court of Justice, and handles nearly half of all civil claims in the province. The Court has civil jurisdiction over monetary claims up to $35,000, and provides an efficient and cost-effective forum for Ontarians to bring or defend these claims.The Deputy Judges of the Small Claims Court are lawyers who are actively engaged in the practice of law, or retired lawyers or judges. They are members of the Law Society of Ontario and are subject to the Law Society Rules of Professional Conduct. They preside in court on a part-time basis.

Lynne conducts independent investigations of Canadian consumer banking complaints on behalf of ADR Chambers Banking Ombuds Office, which is regulated as an External Complaints Body by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and governed by the Canadian federal Bank Act and relevant Regulations.

Lynne provides strategic advice to clients in the areas of eDiscovery; electronic evidence; information governance; privacy, data breach readiness prevention strategies; regulatory response; internal investigations; data security and defensible data collection.

Lynne advises company executive on new and existing laws and legal obligations that impact the business. She anticipates and identifies legal and regulatory issues and counsels the executive and upper management on the development of legal strategies and solutions. Lynne oversees all legal matters of the business, including contract review and negotiation, employment law, risk identification and mitigation, litigation avoidance and provides strategic support to the Company's Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement quality program and ISO 9001:2015 certification activities.
