As Communications Manager, I give the CES the helping hand it needs, ensuring its brand and reputation as a highly professional organization across various mediums, in English and French. In addition to regular member communications and website updates, special projects have included a website redesign and relaunch in 2023, the most recent annual reports and 5-year strategic plans, from development to distribution. I also manage its online learning platform, the e-Institute, which involves marketing the courses across various channels, coordinating facilitated cohorts, uploading and translating several courses, and helping instructors and students.

I led a transformative project to update the CACP’s association management systems and website, aimed at improving the experience for staff, members and other contributors. The role involved conducting a thorough review to understand existing systems and workflows, followed by consultations with staff to confirm current and future needs. I also assessed existing contract dates to anticipate potential phasing requirements and crafted an RFP for AMS services. To evaluate submissions, I created a comprehensive document of vendor questions and answers, compiled and analyzed submissions, and coordinated vendor demonstrations to select the most suitable. Once the new AMS was selected, I worked with the team and vendor to organize and transfer their member and other information, set up the new database and create the new website. The end result was a more streamlined user experience and more efficient management process.
