Led by clinical experts we are South Midland's specialist in-house and open course health care instructors as well as Dental and GP Sedation Immediate Life Support instructors. Regularly teaching to Universities and Oxford Dental and GP Deaneries on Medical Emergency and Resuscitation.We also teach paediatric and Health and Safety First Aid at Work courses.

My main role in this part time position is lecturing to health care students in anaphylaxis, intravenous drugs, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

Part time freelance resuscitation trainer in basic life support and immediate life support courses

I have a nursing qualification, extensive Coronary & Intensive care experience. This plus my ENB teaching and assessing qualifications enabled me to become a senior resuscitation officer: Teaching adult and paediatric resuscitation to all hospital staff: consultants, cardiac arrest teams, nursing staff and others. I was also the Hospital Trust lead for all anaphylaxis related research and training.

Co-ordination of care for medical/trauma/surgical patients including invasive monitoring and inotropic support. Managing and providing all nursing care for ventilated and high dependency patients.Assessing/treating acute coronary symptoms and liaising appropriately with doctors and other staff.Developing and maintaining standards and protocols. Numerous extended roles enabling total patient care e.g. Phlebotomy/Arterial line/CVP
