My company, ASTRA, has since 1999 provided public involvement services for a range of projects, including Sprint Arena, Kauffman Stadium, and large infrastructure projects for sewer and stormwater management. ASTRA proudly facilitated a two phase Climate Protection Planning process that has been unanimously adopted by the City Council and Mayor of KCMO. The nationally recognized initiative, 10,000 Rain Gardens, and the development of the speaker's series, "Conversations on the Environment", are two prominent examples of citizen engagement.ASTRA provided public involvement and communications for the KCMO Police Department and the City of Kansas City, Missouri, on the largest capital project in the urban core, the East Campus for the new Crime Lab and East Patrol Station.Most recently I facilitated Faces of Change, a photographic exhibition by Nick Vedros, at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
