It is affiliated with Dart Container Corporation, the world’s largest distributor of foam cups. Key responsibilities included:• Chairing the Philanthropic Committee for the company and managing the grant process• Liaising with not-for-profits, community groups and other organizations in the country regarding community investment activities• Media relations including drafting and issuing press releases, liaising with the media daily, writing briefing notes and organizing interviews for senior management. I also appeared in the media on behalf of the company when needed• Reporting to the CEO, COO and senior management team and Board on philanthropic activities• Liaising with government and external stakeholders regularly regarding community investment • Representing the company at a large number of public events plus organizing staff involvement • Leading the rollout of the company-wide values program • Internal communications activities including developing and launching a new intranet • Writing speeches and providing communications support to the senior management team

Global Directories publishes directories and provides online directories for nearly over 12 countries. Its parent company, Media House, is traded on the Bermuda stock exchange. Global employed over 200 people. As Director of Communications, I was a member of the senior management team and was actively involved in key projects that enabled the company to grow. I also was the Marketing Manager for this firm, overseeing all marketing activities across 12 markets. Some key projects included:• New business development and negotiating new contracts with telecommunications partners• Creating a strategic communications plan for the company’s internal brand (vision, mission and values) and implementing it across all offices• Managing public relations activities including television interviews, radio and print• Providing direction and support to the Sales and Marketing teams including sales materials and advertising to meet company objectives• Leading human resources team; responsible for all HR-related matters• Leading the development of a company employment handbook, successfully addressing the legal and cultural issues across 12 jurisdictions• Developing and managing a disaster recovery plan and team, which was critical as the company faced a hurricane season each year• Creating and launching a company intranet – the company’s first• • Leading engagement activities including company-wide newsletters and staff functions

Managed marketing campaigns across the Caribbean region and in the U.S. Key achievements included: • Sourcing a new advertising agency through an proposal process and managing the relationship• Developing and implementing advertising and promotional campaigns to support yellow pages and other directory products throughout the Caribbean• Developing strategies and implementing them to support sales targets including materials and customer events• Developing and implementing a public relations plan to support sales campaigns. This included appearing in the media and managing key customer relationships• Supporting new business development activities and providing input to new product development

C&W/LIME is a telecoms provider with a head office in London, UK and regional office in the Cayman Islands. Roles included:Campaign ManagerResponsible for overseeing all advertising campaigns for voice products across the Caribbean markets. • Managing advertising and media placement activities/agencies • Developing public relations plans for the rollout of new products• Conducting market research on perceptions of brand and of new products prior Sector Manager, Online Gaming/Offshore productsProvided project management for this significant product sector, which included managing market research, pricing, and a project team to provide services. I also liaised with key customers, government officials on behalf of and the company. Intranet ManagerDeveloped a business case for the creation of a new intranet for the Caribbean region and subsequently project managed the roll out. This intranet served as a main hub for several hundred employees across the region. I also developed and rolled out a training program for publishing to the site. This project was identified by the company’s UK team as a model project.Marketing ExecutiveCoordinated marketing projects including a large re-branding campaign. This involved rebranding signage, livery, telephone booths, stationary across 12 business units. This project won two public relations awards. The agency we worked with was Shandwick from the U.S.
