I have enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 25 years as a senior level public relations, public affairs, community relations, content creation, business development and strategic planning executive. Currently, I am the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for The Epoch Times. Previously, I served as a Senior Reporter and Features Writer covering Southern California. Brand experience includes government, non-profit organizations, arts and culture, luxury consumer, travel and tourism, real estate development and building industries, action sports, and environmental conservation.A copywriter, editor, blogger, social media strategist, and general/lifestyle columnist, I also also have experience as a television and radio show producer and host. Appointed for two consecutive terms by the Newport Beach City Council, I currently serve as an appointee to the Newport Beach General Plan Advisory Committee. Chair Emeritus of the Newport Beach City Arts Commission; an active Advisory Board member with the Newport Beach 1st Battalion, 1st Marines Foundation; and advisory board member of Friends of the Newport Beach Animal Shelter, and the Newport Beach Wooden Boat Festival. An active member of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, I participate with the Governmental Affairs and Christmas Boat Parade Awards Dinner committees.
