In one of the richest counties in the country, Loudoun County has a booming real estate market with homes averaging a sale price of $500,000-plus. As Real Estate editor, I worked with numerous agents, developers, architects and all those involved in the real estate industry bringing readers informative and interesting articles on the local market. As editor, I also managed numerous freelance writers and columnists, as well as put together the Homes tab section of the paper every week.

Throughout the 6-plus years I have reported for the Loudoun Times-Mirror I have covered many beats including: western towns, eastern county, obituaries, business, county government and development and entertainment. When a spare moment arose, I would throw myself into writing in-depth features of county residents bringing their amazing stories to the masses.Other major projects I was involved in were Black History month series, six county guides, six holiday gift guides, home and garden tour guide as well as an award-winning series on a three-year old county resident with autism.

As web coordinator I had the job of keeping all regional residents up-to-date with breaking news and articles on each of the 18 Times Community Papers websites. Working on the print edition deadline and having round-the-clock updates, I filled the websites with written copy, photos, graphics and other elements for all papers in the company.Throughout the three-years I was involved in the web department, I was involved in two web redesigns and also involved in putting together a plan of linking the print edition of the paper with the online presence.
