Dismantle Collective is a Black-led, POC-centered social enterprise creating our collective path to liberation. We develop and activate spaces where we get to create, collaborate, dream, and heal.

Oakland Freedom Theater was an ensemble of actors, musicians and expert facilitators utilizing art and empathy to dismantle systems of oppression. Centering POC and LGBTQIA+ performers, our company uses playback theater, improvisation and diversity/equity/inclusion frameworks to facilitate listening, resistance and change. We worked with corporations, non-profits, and government organizations to create experiences that are healing, restorative and activating for diverse audiences.

- Lead a "Best for the World" certified B Corp that educates, inspires, and activates girls and women to take center stage- Have built our "Go Girls! Camp" from 17 girls in 2008 to serving 400 girls in 3 Bay Area locations- Took the business from nothing to over $500K in revenues with 60% gross profitability - Have raised over $300K from a variety of investors, including 1) becoming the first recipient of the Force for Good Fund, dedicated to supporting women/people of color to create "Best for the World" businesses, and 2) closing a successful regulation crowdfunding campaign on WeFunder with over $60K raised from 40+ investors- Became a certified B Corp with an initial score of 118 (minimum score = 80)- Won SheKnows Media's "The Pitch" competition at BlogHer 2017- Developed a strong organizational "Culture Code" that has attracted a high quality, diverse staff - 31% people of color, 21% LGBTQ-identified - Highly recognized as a leader in gender equality and social equity; Conference presenter including SOCAP + Lean StartUp Week; Podcast expert guest including Talk to Jess (with Jess Weiner) + Next Economy Now
