I am President and CEO of BFW, Inc. – a provider of high quality surgical and examination headlight and camera systems. Founded in 1971 by my father, Leon Cooper, BFW has evolved into one of the top product lines in the field. Since I joined the company in 1990, we have grown into a top global business with the help of an amazing staff, a stellar supplier, and great team of distributors around the world.While I’m based in Louisville, Kentucky, you’ll often find me traveling the globe sharing products one-on-one with our customers, top surgeons, and leading hospitals. Although challenging at times, this aspect of the business fulfills my love of travel and working with people from all over.I am also an avid supporter of women’s issues both globally and locally. Ten years ago, I co-founded the Network of Entrepreneurial Women (Nentw.com). I am chair of Anchal Project (anchalproject.org), an amazing organization that provides women in India design and sewing training as well as employment opportunities as artisans. In addition, I am on the advisory board of Dress for Success Louisville.I believe we all need something to recharge and fulfill us outside of our professional lives. Other than travel and my board duties, I enjoy practicing yoga and reading!
