Lynn Reed Selby is a dynamic, result-driven senior executive with 20+ years of public and private sector public policy and government relations experience with an emphasis on workforce development at the local, state and national levels. From 2011 to 2015, she served as a Gubernatorial Appointee in the O'Malley Administration in Maryland as Executive Director of the Governor's Workforce Investment Board (GWIB). During her tenure at the GWIB, she provide overall leadership related to advancing the Governor’s workforce and economic development policy agenda in the State of Maryland. Prior to joining the GWIB, Lynn served as Senior Director of Business Partnerships for LRG, Inc., a management consulting firm in Northern Virginia. There she was staffed as an “Executive on Loan” to the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration's Business Relations Group where she worked to launch the President's High Growth Job Training Initiative. In this role she managed $17M in federal funds targeted towards creating industry-specific sector strategy initiatives designed to assist nationally-recognized employers with their talent acquisition needs.Lynn recently served on the Leadership Council of the National Skills Coalition in Washington, D.C., and is a past board member of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP).
