As a career changer, I have a unique background and interesting set of skills. I spent nearly a decade working in science, performing research for developing new drugs and validating that they are better than current therapies. From there, I attended a 6-month software development bootcamp followed by 3 years making a web portal for clinicians to collect data in a clinical flow and researchers to access the data while maintaining all the required deidentification of HIPPA. Being at a very small company, I wore many hats, but mostly I wrote software. I have skills of project and people management, a high-level understanding of science and research and mid-senior level software development skills. This diverse background demonstrates my nimbleness, ability to quickly learn and strong work-ethic.
