I develop strategy for and manage the firm’s Growth Activation program that provides a CPE eligible curriculum of business development tools, skills and behaviors in a collaborative environment to aid in the success of our client-serving professionals in the areas of networking, proactive client service, building a pipeline, team leadership and generating new business.

I worked closely with stakeholders on marketing strategy and managed the strategy execution with team members for a variety of industries and specialty service lines, such as financial services, not-for-profit, dealerships and healthcare.

Effective November 1, 2021, Arnett Carbis Toothman (ACT) combined with Baker Tilly US. ACT was the 103rd ranked accounting and consulting firm in the U.S. at the time of the transition. All eight offices between Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, specializing in healthcare, manufacturing, construction and real estate development, financial institutions, oil and gas industries and closely-held businesses are now part of Baker Tilly US.I developed and implemented marketing strategies and programs, and oversaw all marketing and business development efforts in the firm.

Salinas, California Area

Hayashi Wayland (HW) is the largest accounting firm on California’s Central Coast, and is the only local member of the RSM US Alliance. My focus was growth of the firm, achieved through strategy development and execution, working with the partners on their growth plans, managing the funnel process and growth teams, new client pursuits, partner and staff coaching, proposals and marketing activities. I also managed the firm’s Staff Advisory Board (SAB) and the projects that resulted. The SAB was made up of partners and team members at various levels, and was focused on firm-wide culture and engagement by empowering team members to develop solutions, programs, and morale activities.

Salinas, California Area

Working with the Marketing Manager, we successfully rebranded the firm, which was a lot of fun! I was key in developing targeted marketing strategies, the firm’s Guiding Principles, Mission and Vision statements, advertising, campaigns, collateral, proposals and tracking. I led and managed firm-wide initiatives, projects and teams, event planning, video production, social media and budgeting.

Progressive Medical, Inc. provided cost containment services in the workers’ compensation and auto no-fault industries through pharmacy and ancillary programs and networks. I was responsible for print and electronic campaigns, copy writing collateral, staff and client communications and training documents, managing relationships, the website, tracking matrices and budget.

Percipa Networks was an IP telecommunications software company that specialized in the hospitality industry. I participated in trade shows and industry conventions to develop relationships and business leads, managed the corporate lead generation program, managed product certifications with hotel franchises, identified prospects, determined sales strategies for technology solutions, and executed account specific value propositions.
