As Controller for Castle Lanterra, I am primarily responsible for the review and maintenance of property and partnership level financial statements. This includes monthly analysis, quarterly and annual consolidation of property financial reports, coordination of year-end audit and tax preparation, and liaising with third-party tax preparers. Additionally, I am responsible for oversight of the accounting staff. Previously, I held senior accounting positions with Kushner Companies and Kohl Asset Management, where I was a member of their healthcare, senior independent living, and multi-family divisions. Additional career experience includes not for profit organizations, and secondary schools and community colleges, where I educated students in mathematics.
