Currently teaching Economics for Business (ECON-150) for undergraduate students at the Kogod School of Business. This is a combination of introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics, which aims at providing students with a basic understanding of the role and decision-making rule of individuals, firms, and the central government. Previously, I taught Introduction to International Economics (SIS-300) at the School of International Service (SIS). This course fulfills the Quantitative Literacy II requirement for SIS students by developing quantitative frameworks from two subfields of international economics: international trade and international finance.

Responsibilities include leading weekly discussion sessions, holding office hours, organizing course materials, grading, and communicating with professors regarding students' learning progresses.

Performed qualitative research for Professor Xuguang (Simon) Sheng on the impact of COVID-19 on sectors in the United States, as well as how U.S. consumers' consumption patterns have shifted during the early stage of the pandemic. Collected data, examined preliminary patterns, and compiled a report by conducting media searches of news articles from the New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Financial Times.

• Helped provide research and analysis on development issues related to Africa and the Least Developed Countries.• Assisted with the production of the United Nations flagship report: The Economic Development in Africa Report (EDAR 2024).

Worked as an FIP Research Intern at the African Department, Regional Studies Division. Conducted research with IMF economists on the impact of sub-Saharan African trade with global partners on changes in the region’s economic complexity. Developed hypotheses, collected data, and performed macroeconomic empirical analyses to analyze the heterogeneous impact of trade across product groups and partner countries.

Assisted staff, scholars, and the Director of Cato’s Center for Trade Policy Studies by conducting quantitative research and writing literature reviews on various topics, including dairy protectionism, carbon border adjustment mechanism, anti-dumping, trade policy views of current members of the U.S. Congress, and the rising U.S. current account deficit.

Utilized artificial intelligence, litigation and regulatory databases, and a wide range of research tools to conduct qualitative research and gather risk and compliance intelligence on individuals and companies. Developed and assisted in red-flag and IPO reports to help clients understand the general background of the subject, assess the subject's legitimacy and reputation, and inform strategic decision-making.

Conducted secondary research with the Federal Reserve Board economist, John H. Rogers, on the potential correlations between monetary policy surprises on European Central Bank (ECB) meeting dates and the change of key macroeconomic variables forecasts in the Eurozone. Performed data cleaning, constructed linear models, and identified correlations by running individual and panel regressions in both pre- and post- financial crisis time periods.
