Summer Manager, Bahti Indian Arts 4330 N. Campbell #73 Tucson, AZ — Founded by Tom Bahti in the summer of 1949, the first shop was known as Ghost Ranch Trading Post, located near Abiquiu, New Mexico. That winter the business moved to Tucson and was renamed Tom Bahti Indian Arts. Tom was widely recognized authority on Indian arts and culture and in the forefront of those supporting the modern movement in Native Art. Since 1972 run by his son Mark, father and son have authored a dozen books on Southwest Indian Arts, culture and history.I have had the great opportunity to work for Tucson's oldest Native American Art Gallery for 10 years. I enjoy helping folks visiting from all over the world learn more about Native art and culture, as well as sharing my love of the Sonoran desert.
