Position is within the Planning Section and performs program management duties related to the NE Region’s 6-Year State Trunk Highway Improvement Program and Local Highway Improvement program and provides program management oversight utilizing engineering and economic analysis and other tools to ensure that the Region is maximizing its allocated funding and achieving the Division’s program effectiveness goal.Provide region-level program management expertise, analysis, reporting, tracking and evaluation activities in the development, implementation and management of the region’s 6-Year State Trunk Highway Improvement Program and determination of other long-range state highway improvement needs. This position tracks system condition, needs and performance and works with the program engineer to determine when to undertake action on an asset such as preservation, rehabilitation, reconstruction, capacity enhancement, or replacement. Also, responsible for program risk management by analyzing program stability. This is done by using data from various sources and utilizing programs such as MS Access, MS Excel and ArcGIS to develop reports and applications.
