I consulted and advised clients, architects, contractors and project management companies on mandatory and best design elements of new or renovated child care & early education facilities. In this position I also trained, supported and mentored Regional Managers to accomplish operational and financial goals in the development of new Bright Horizons managed centers.

2002-2006 Washington, DC Partnered with GSA Boards in management of all aspects of government agency child care & early education centers. Developed and opened child care centers for government agencies, law firms and consortium of companies. Transitioned self managed child care centers into management contracts to improve operations and enrich environments.2006-2010 Edinburgh, Scotland UK Led acquisition transition for region of Scottish child care centers into US based company. Integrated company cultures, people practices and financial operations. 2010-2019 Atlanta, GA Led strategy and oversaw operation of large capacity child care centers for The Home Depot, Chick fil A and others. Provided direction and input with client partners and architects for new facilities design and program. As a Regional Manager throughout my tenure, I routinely executed the following: Provided strategic leadership to a region in the achievement of Bright Horizons goals for staff, family and client satisfaction, quality programming and financial success. Trained and developed Directors so they were capable of reaching and maintaining excellence in these areas. Ensured that each location exceeded state and local licensing, health and safety standards and NAEYC accreditation criteria while incorporating company missions, culture, goals, values, policies and development of an inclusive learning environment.Responsible for being the company’s representative to families, children and clients with all affiliated locations. Supported the Director’s development of positive relationships with families, children and staff and clients.Executed annual financial budgets for each location in partnership with the client and contract to meet revenue and earnings targets. Guided Directors in understanding financial tools, reporting and forecasting that linked budgets to operational activities.
