The Pipeline Association of the Northwest (PANW) is comprised of pipeline operators in Idaho, Oregon and Washington that are dedicated to promoting pipeline safety by training emergency responders and public officials in how to respond to pipeline incidents. PANW is a State Association of the Pipeline Association for Public Awareness (PAPA). Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Public Safety Awareness Program & Damage Prevention Program for all stakeholders including the general public, public officials, emergency responders, contractors/excavators, schools etc. aimed at reducing pipeline accidents involving the public while enhancing the safety related to gas facilities & distribution system through raising the public’s awareness of the potential hazards of natural gas pipelines & facilities. •Ensuring compliance with Federal, State & other regulatory agency's regulations and requirements. Train, investigate & audit as necessary to ensure compliance regulations and requirements are met•Development of standardized procedures & policies related to API RP 1162• Maintain involvement & work with various external organizations such as Common Ground Alliance 811 organization, Local Emergency Planning Committee programs, public officials, first responders, contractors, schools•Partner with others to engage community based organizations to build public safety awareness of facility locations, what to do following gas leaks, a rupture or explosion and build confidence in our pipeline safety for urban and high consequence areas•Establish metrics and develop a record keeping system to measure the program’s progress for monthly & quarterly reports for senior & executive management. Track community engagements for routine performance reporting•Establish & maintain budget for programs•Coordinate the advertising, production of publications & electronic communications for damage prevention/emergency response education including research, writing & editing•Develop, coordinate & participate in pipeline safety education events including excavator one-call training, emergency responder training & company emergency response training•Represent the Company at industry meetings & during Pipeline Safety Inspections regarding public awareness

Program Coordinator - Beryllium Disease Prevention Program •Strategically planning and coordinating industrial hygiene assessments, characterization, and verification sampling activities for the beryllium disease prevention program for 1500+ facilities on the Hanford Nuclear Site.•Establishing, communicating, and tracking work activity process in order to maintain schedule, prioritize tasks, and provide detailed program status updates to management.•Working closely with program manager, team, and project personnel to meet timelines and goals. •Statusing performance, forecasting work, and evaluating budget with project controls personnel. •Participating in facility assessment tabletop reviews, facility walk downs, and sampling activities, serving as Industrial Hygienist scribe/assistant, and maintaining all program documentation. System Administrator - Respiratory Protection Equipment Tracking system•System administrator implementing full rollout for new electronic issuing system for 12 individual project issuing stations, determining setup, ordering equipment, proposing procedure updates, maintaining user manual, developing training material, training personnel, and monitoring and controlling system use.•Interfacing with software engineers/developers regarding system issues, concerns, software change requests, and system testing. Program Coordinator in Training - D.O.E. Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)• Voluntary Protection Program support, mentoring Zero Accident Council, preparing/presenting safety topics, designing and updating webpage, analyzing and reporting survey results, supporting annual self assessments and Department of Energy assessments. • 2017 company Safety Connect event lead, overseeing $5,550 budget, planning and implementing 2 day public event. Personnel Accountability Aid• Initiate emergency drills and real drills in compliance with company procedures and appropriate protection techniques to ensure building occupants safety.
