Prior to moving into the event management sector, I was a professional dancer for over 15 years. I worked for various companies and artists all over the world, this will explain the lack of information from graduation to my first job in the event sector.The skill set I attained throughout those years has benefited me as an event co-ordinator enormously. It helped me construct a strong portfolio of contacts and experience within the entertainment industry.I now have a proficient understanding of devising, designing and implementing best practice techniques as an organiser and as an employee, it has helped me to optimise and grow business needs and I am highly skilled in prioritising and efficiently managing multiple assignments, events and projects.Due to my years as a dance lecturer it has given me the skills to become a visible leader and mentorship figure with the capacity to build strong and successful relationships with colleagues. I embrace new challenges and positions of responsibility and thrive under the pressure of a demanding workload.
