Highly motivated, results orientated, and self driven Manager with 20 years experience in the Criminal Justice system.I am very logical and systematic in my approach to tasks, I focus on being precise and accurate, I have the ability to look through policies and procedures with an analytical approach, carrying out static and dynamic risk assessments prior to any decision making and implementation of processes. I am able to absorb and present information well both verbally and in report format. I can at times be a perfectionist and like to get things right ensuring attention to detail. I strive for high quality and ensure these standards are maintained. I also pride myself on never getting complacent and always looking for ways to improve.For the last 18 months I have been part of a Senior Management team in an operational role in a very challenging environment. I was chosen to take over the position as the Head of Residence by the Director of the Prison as there was a lack of leadership and direction. I have since been permanent promoted to the Head of Resettlement. The previous 9 years to this I have worked as a Middle Manager covering the Operations department, Safer custody, Residential units, Violence reduction, Young Offenders, Offender Management, Public Protection, Interventions, Recovery, Children & Family support, and when required I have covered the Security department. This also entails the role of Duty Manager working on the authority of the Director of the Prison.In these roles I have line managed large teams and during the role of Duty manager I manage over 200 staff and 1460 prisoners.I have a number of years experience in dealing with many types of incidents either on the scene or taking command as silver commander. I have had attended a vast number of training courses including the GMP intelligence analyst, Prison service incident command, as well as actual experience of on the job real life incidents that I have been able to resolve with minimal disruption and harm.
