Always ready for a challenge, I jumped at the chance to join the team at Buckinghamshire Business First and juggle the myriad of stakeholders, projects and tasks that come hand-in-hand with a merger, translating public sector policy into projects that deliver results and growing our membership base exponentially from 200 to over 10,000 in 5 years. Cracking the secret to corporate communications is my current bête noir. I cut my teeth in consumer marketing as part of the team that launched the world’s largest and fastest growing headwear manufacturer and iconic lifestyle brand, New Era, into Europe. Opening new markets in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, experiencing sales growth of $35 million and launching the brands’ most profitable flagship stores in London and Berlin. Prior to this I was lucky enough to experience South Korean hospitality in full force when I lived and worked in Seoul to project manage the launch of an English Language website. This is also where I discovered a passion for martial arts and explored my love of music and events promotion. Educated at Aylesbury High School, I gained my degree (BA Hons) Media & Management from Leeds University, am an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and hold a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Cookham.
