I'm a mom of six, a lifelong entrepreneur and a recipe developer, food stylist, and photographer. I currently spend the majority of my professional time working in Development, Marketing, Communications, and Event Planning.My focus is on big picture digital marketing for Founders, CEOs, and Owner/Operators in the food & craft bev space - but I'm intrigued by any business and nonprofit looking to grow.I have spent the past six years as a member of the Brewer's Ball planning committee (3 of those years as Chair). The Brewer's Ball is an event that raises funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. After five years as a community volunteer I was extremely proud to become a part of the VA Chapter team as their newest Development Director for the CF Foundation!I recently left my role as DD for the CFF VA Chapter to embark on a new role that brings together development, marketing, and local food to become the Development Director of Charlottesville's own Local Food Hub. I was thrilled to have the chance to affect positive change in our community through food, farmers, and families. Since June 2024, Local Food Hub began the process of closing its organization, which is a loss that has been felt widely in Charlottesville and the surrounding area. This closure, however, has allowed me the rare opportunity to diversify my professional experiences!I've had the good fortune of getting back into a role as a marketing and communications leader, and have found exciting projects that help me to bolster an inspiring local business scene in Cville.
