Grid decarbonization is a critical part of mitigating climate change, and to succeed we need to build a ton of complex, high throughput, realtime, robust systems. Many which don't exist yet. If you are a SWE, and want something worthwhile to work on, come to the Energy space; we have some serious problems to solve. I'm a computer scientist and backend software engineer, with a passion for improving both the technical and human environments which produce great software. I aim to use my skills and knowledge to improve human living conditions, now and in the future, by bringing the value of software to socially beneficial organizations and industries.At PagerDuty I led numerous high value and high risk initiatives to completion with cross-functional teams, and continue to be rewarded with greater responsibility. I thrive in domains where technical subject matter experts must deeply understand business priorities and collaborate closely with decision makers and other stakeholders.
