As Director of the Bioscience Incubator, I serve as the steward of everyone's interests. We have member companies that we support in their efforts to demonstrate that their technologies can stand on their own. We have students starting their careers and we support them by giving them mentorship and valuable hands-on experience. We have a life science ecosystem that we participate in to lift each other up and make Austin the life science hub that measures up to its potential. And, we have a college that was innovative and adventurous enough to launch a start-up incubator on its campus. My goal is make sure that all of these pieces thrive and grow.

Assist the Director in the day to day operations of a 10,000sq ft leaseable wet lab space in the former Highland Mall. I actively participate in selecting the companies who occupy the space, the students working with us and the instrumentation available for use. I also manage the lab, overseeing all maintenance and training of instrumentation, as well as any contract research projects that we manage.
