My previous title was Operations Specialist. With that title, I gained an invaluable amount of experience in the operations field. It helped me to understand what it means to be profitable and all the factors that can contribute to that. I found myself frequently relaying information between multiple different departments, all with their own unique vernacular. I was able to leverage the communication skills I acquired with my English Degree when acting as a conduit from one department to another. With an affinity for language and syntax, I participated in a coding bootcamp as a way of expanding my skill set and knowledge. And knowledge was certainly something I attained.
