Master's student with a thesis focused on sustainable stormwater management. Specifically analyzing the implementation and effectiveness of a stormwater control measure treatment train which includes a swale, rain gardens, and an infiltration trench.

Selected through the International Research Experience for Students (IRES) program to complete field research and site visits in Germany while exploring the use of riverbank filtration systems as well as potential problems related to clogging of the riverbed associated with climate change.

Research assistant to Dr. Kristen Sanford Bernhardt on an NSF-funded project titled "Sustainability and Captial Projects: Modeling the Emergent Property of Total Cost of Ownership." Used agent-based modeling to better predict TCO and human relationships for both traditional and "green" facilities in the public sector and aimed to eliminate the perception that "green" building is not economically competitive.
